Great, I’m leaving for Nashville in a few hours and the place is turning into a war zone. The story is, Ole Miss assistant coach tweeted that the team could not get on the bus because it was parked over a “live landmine.”

According to AllKyHoops.com, the tweet has since been deleted with no official word about what was happening. Apparently there is construction going on in the area so it’s possible the bus parked in a construction zone that had explosives nearby.
Update: Yeah, so this is pretty much a non story. David Brandt of the Clarion Ledger in Mississippi did some digging. As expected, it had something to do with construction in the area. Apparently the route the bus took went near some explosives in a construction zone (Kentucky went the same way). But there were no landmines involved. The reason they didn’t get on the bus is because they were planning a new route away from the arena. End of story.
