Coming into the game against Kentucky, Brian Brohm was being talked about as a Heisman candidate. He didn’t help himself any with the game he had last night.
In the first 2 games, Brohm had not thrown an interception. That ended on his first pass of the game.
Also in the first 2 games, Brohm had slipped through with a sack. He was sacked about 3 times last night.
Louisville had scored every time they had been in the red zone this season. Last night, Louisville had a chance to keep this streak alive, but foolish penalties and bad decision makings brought this streak to an end as well.
Not to mention, this was Louisville’s first loss on the season. It also ended any slim hope they had of playing in the national title game.
