Fire Joe B!

Just a few notes: It was a good, fun game that saw John Calipari’s Dominican National team beat the UK Pros 106-88. It was great seeing all the former Wildcats back in town, especially players we haven’t seen awhile in Tayshaun Prince, Rajon Rondo, Keith Bogans and Nazr Mohammed. Eloy Vargas got some of the [...]

ArtiCALs – 11.9.09

Terrence Jones might decide to announce his decision during the early signing period. Or, he might not. Jon Hood’s shooting could help UK this season. Patrick Patterson wants to be Jodie Meeks. Vanderbilt has never been an automatic win for Kentucky.

Good Luck Jodie…

I don’t know if the NBA changed the rule, but maybe there will be a spot for you if you go undrafted.  I hope you have better initial luck than Azubuike.  But, things turned out OK for him. John Clay gives us 5 thoughts on Meeks’ decison.

Larry Orton Understands…

From Scout.com: “Imagine the bigs you could have with Patrick Patterson, Daniel, Matt Pilgrim and Perry Stevenson along with Cousins coming in. What an offense that would be,” Larry Orton said. “Then you would have Jodie Meeks and maybe throw in John Wall and Nolan Dennis, who is as good as Wall. You are talking [...]

The Unwatchables

Welp, UK made it official.  In order to make it to the NCAA Tournament for the 18th year in a row, they will have to win the SEC Tournament.  It’s not likely, but crazier things have happened (Georgia last year). A lot of people are calling for Gillispie’s job.  I’m indifferent (for now, but I’m [...]

UK Sweeps Vols

Great all around game by Kentucky today.  The Cats jumped out to a big lead and never trailed beating UT 77-58. I guess it goes to show all the Tennessee fans that it wasn’t just Jodie Meeks winning the game in Knoxville as he finished with 14.  Take away his scoring and UK still wins, [...]

Kentucky Wins

Jodie Meeks was absolutely unconscious again, scoring 45 points as Kentucky defeated Arkansas 79-63.  Kentucky was in control from the tip and the game was never really in question.  Up next is Vandy on Tuesday.  Good win.

Meeks by the shot

Kentucky.com tells us how Meeks scored his points.

Meeks is the MAN

That is all.

What a great day….

What a great day!  Kentucky defeats Appalachian State 93-69 in a game that wasn’t really that close.  We got to see Meeks absolutely go off and score a career-high 46 points.  And to top it off, Louisville, who has a team with “as much talent as the 1996 Kentucky TeamTM,” gets knocked off by Tubby [...]
